An Act to Amend the Financial and Consumer Services Commission Act
Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:
1 Section 6 of the English version of the Financial and Consumer Services Commission Act, chapter 30 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 2013, is amended
(a)  in subsection (3) by striking out “he or she” and “his or her” and substituting “the person” and “their”, respectively;
(b)  in subsection (4) by striking out “his or her” and “he or she” and substituting “their” and “the member”, respectively;
(c)  in subsection (5) by striking out “he or she” and substituting “the member”.
2 Subsection 7(1) of the English version of the Act is amended by striking out “he or she” wherever it appears and substituting “the person”.
3 Subsection 8(2) of the English version of the Act is amended by striking out “him or her” and “his or her” and substituting “the member” and “their”, respectively.
4 Subsection 10(3) of the English version of the Act is amended by striking out “his or her powers and duties” and substituting “the powers and duties of the chair”.
5 Subsection 17(7) of the English version of the Act is amended by striking out “him or her” and “his or her” and substituting “the member” and “their”, respectively.
6 Subsection 18(3) of the English version of the Act is amended by striking out “him or her” wherever it appears and substituting “the person”.
7 Paragraph 20(1)(c) of the English version of the Act is amended by striking out “his or her” and substituting “their”.
8 Subsection 21(8) of the English version of the Act is amended by striking out “he or she” and substituting “the Minister”.
9 Section 23 of the Act is amended
(a)  in subsection (1) by striking out “December 31” and substituting “February 28”;
(b)  in subsection (2) of the English version by striking out “he or she” and substituting “the Secretary”.
10 Subsection 31(3) of the English version of the Act is amended by striking out “he or she” and “his or her” and substituting “the member” and “their”, respectively.
11 Subsection 33(2) of the English version of the Act is amended by striking out “him or her” and “his or her” and substituting “the member” and “their”, respectively.
12 Subsection 34(1) of the English version of the Act is amended by striking out “he or she” and substituting “the member”.
13 Section 40 of the English version of the Act is amended
(a)  in subsection (2) by striking out “him or her” wherever it appears and substituting “the Registrar”;
(b)  in subsection (3)
( i) in the portion preceding paragraph (a) by striking out “him or her” wherever it appears and substituting “the Registrar”;
( ii) in paragraph (c) by striking out “his or her” and substituting “their”.
14 Subsection 51(1) of the English version of the Act is amended
(a)  in the portion preceding paragraph (a) by striking out “his or her”, “him or her” and “he or she” wherever it appears and substituting “their”, “the person” and “the person”, respectively;
(b)  in paragraph (b) by striking out “his or her” and substituting “their”.
15 Subsection 79(1) of the English version of the Act is amended by striking out “his or her” and “he or she” and substituting “their” and “the person”, respectively.
16 Section 82 of the English version of the Act is amended by striking out “he or she” and substituting “the person”.
